The MIM 2, a white colored unit, has the same form factor and signal ports as the legacy MIM. The MIM 2 is dedicated to the DISH Wally receiver and is not backwards compatible with the DISH VIP211 and VIP711. This is because a different protocol is used between the Wally receiver and the MIM 2. However, MIM and MIM 2 units can be daisy-chained to support both new and legacy receivers.

Compatibility: i-Series, t-Series when used with Dish Network (USA) Wally Receivers.
